To celebrate the release of InstaPrayer: Prayers to Share, I’m proud to announce a special photo contest!

In case you don’t know, this book of colorful, creative, quirky prayer prompts was designed to be shared on social media. Take a pic of a page you like, tag some friends, and start a conversation centered around prayer. In this time of social distancing, we need connection more than ever—with each other, and with God. These prayer prompts give you a fun way to start those conversations.

If you just want to snap pictures of the pages, that is fine. They stand on their own.

But if you want to start these conversations, challenge your creativity, and possibly win some fun prizes, you can enter my photo contest.

HOW TO ENTER

1. FLIP THROUGH THE BOOK. (Don’t have a copy? Order here or find multiple online retailers here.) Notice which prompts jump out at you or capture your imagination.
2. LOOK AROUND. What objects do you have sitting around that support, coordinate with, or otherwise explain one of the prompts?
3. SNAP! No fancy lights or cameras or equipment necessary for this photo shoot. Just arrange your props around the page until you like how it looks, then snap some photos. Try different angles. Filter or no filter. Focused or out of focus. Whatever tickles your fancy. The key: have fun and be creative!
4. POST your favorite shot on Instagram or Facebook using both hashtags in your written post (#instaprayer #photocontest) and tagging me (Kelly O’Dell Stanley, Writer on Facebook and @kellyostanley on Instagram)
   1. You will receive one entry per photo (post in both places for two entries!).
   2. If possible, tag some friends.
   3. Even better—say a few words about why you are enjoying the book.
   4. Feel free to enter more than once!
5. WATCH your FB or Instagram private messages to see if you’ve won! There will be a new winner and new prizes every two weeks. Drawings will be held on May 11, May 25, and June 8, 2020.

PRIZES include some of the following items, but each time the overall package will be different. In each, you’ll have at least one item loosely related to social media and creativity, such as…
